The best trick for those worms is just to reel it in as slow as physically possible you'll know you're doing it right when it starts to get boring😂 I've got a many of fish doing it like that though probably the best method

That is actually something that I have always wondered. Especially with those extra long Mondo worms or whatever they are called, the hook doesn't even look like it's big enough for the soft plastic. Now I feel a little better though. Thanks Tyler! God bless

Crazy that I was just at the lake fishing with a worm. I was watching a small largie mess with my worm and I was thinking why he wasn’t biting it from the end and I remembered from all the different types of predatory fish I’ve had they’ve always eaten bait head first wether or not it was a fish, frog or anything else; if they notice where the head is that’s the preferred way to take it. I assume this is due to the scenario of it being a small baitfish it wouldn’t really have a chance to come back out (if that is possible) I feel as if they took them from tail end they could try and swim out as they were being bitten or after being swallowed they may try.

Hands down my favorite big worm is the anaconda worm it’s a fish catcher for sure I can’t tell ya even how many small bass I’ve caught in that thing but the big ones love it too

I’m always hesitant to throw bigger lures of any kind. I know the two ways you can go for pressured water is either smaller or bigger but I swear bigger never hits as much as smaller

With worms, i give them an extra second to make sure its actually in there before setting my hook. Sometimes thats a bad thing but usually no. I still have a hard time pulling it out their throat if i ever gut them tho. Makes me sad 😅
