Interesting points there on the BT version. I have just bought one and been playing around for a few days. The potential for the BT connection to fail is mitigated by being able to connect to the dongle via the supplied cable. For anything that involves writing to the car, you might want to use the cable instead just in case of a disconnect. For reading data/faults etc just use the wireless and have the freedom to move around. Also, the dongle has an LED light built in - very handy for plugging into OBD ports that are in dark dingy parts of the dashboard. I think the BT version for an extra 20 quid is well worth it.

The CR Max indicates it has Bluetooth connectivity in the specifications. Would I be able to purchase the bluetooth dongle that is supplied with the Max BT and use it on the standard Max?
Alternatively can the Max BT be used with hardwire OBD2 cable?

Can you please make a video on the CR Ultra. And maybe compare it to the CR Max. I understand the CR Ultra is mostly for shops, but what would be the differences between them just so I know what I’ll be missing on - or not - if I get the CR Max

Can additional android apps be installed on the the MAX? I have a special app, NMPS DIAG, that I use for Small quantity relearn on my Mitsubishi Triton/warrior/L200. I currently have the PRO which does not have this feature and I am guessing the MAX wont either. It would be handy to be able to install it and just use the one device.

Stay away from Bluetooth scanners, unreliable junk. I have a BlueDriver Pro scan tool recommended by Scotty Kilmer, absolute wast of money, never taking any advise from him again
