Two-time Formula One World Champion Max Verstappen got behind the wheel of the CR-V Hybrid Racer aka The Beast ahead of the 2023 F1 Miami Grand Prix. INDYCAR driver James Hinchcliffe was onsite to introduce Max Verstappen to the incredible machine before he took laps (and donuts) around Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The one-of-a-kind CR-V features the 2.2-liter twin-turbocharged, electrified Honda V6 INDYCAR power unit and transmission under the 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid bodywork to create the “rolling laboratory” for the continued development of electrified technology by Honda and Honda Performance Development (HPD).
