OMG tytytytyty!! I have NO IDEA how to solder anything so small, but I got nearly this EXACT SAME KIT in the mail as a present, but IT CAME WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!! I had to ask online how to translate Chinese just to find out what the kit was~!!! Using your video as instructions!! Hi, great tutorial and love the channel btw. Can you tell me if the led's connect to the main board via their positive or negative leg? I'm having a few issues as I'm building the matrix in a slightly different way to the way you show.(Same way I made my Jollicube, if you've heard of that?

Hello. You seem like an expert, and I am not finding any more information googling it. I just finished building this exact kit. However, programming is a huge headache. Even more work than building the kit. When I plug it in, all the LEDS turn on and theres a very vague animation where most LEDs stay one and some turn off. I can't get anything else uploaded. I tried using STC-ISP but it has trouble recognizing .HEX files I feel like. I tried using 3D8 TF software but even though the COM port is connected, it doesn't control my cube at all. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

While I appreciate the time taken to make this instructional video it needs to be pointed out that the polarity of the LED's is incorrect and thus this is the reason for the earlier comments of the inverse effect of the patterns. You need to edit this video very quickly before any more people make your same mistake (as I did) as it generates a lot of extra work to fix it. Your construction of this kit is excellent but please edit it before you get death threats. I will post a link shortly once I have fixed my cube to clarify the issues. Again great video and this is not meant to be an aggressive comment but I feel the need to let everybody know not to wire up their LED's this way.

DON'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR LED's ...THE SHORT LEG (cathode) SHOULD GO TO THE MAINBOARD NOT THE LONG LEG (anode) (I spent 4 days building this, only to find out on Google he was doing it wrong). It will work this way but the LED's that should be OFF just go DIM and ruin the effect. If you look at the pictures in the down-loads they show the correct way.

The led on-off state is inverted. On when they should be off, off when they should be on. A simple code change would fix that.

if you are looking to buy a kit to solder everything onto the board, DO NOT buy from BangGood. the board comes pre-soldered so all you have to do is just solder the LED's.
