I had so many run-ins with 'nice guys' back in highschool. One of the worst ones was this boy who asked me out and I said no and so he basically got our entire class to shame me and make me out to be some heartless harpy who wouldn't just give the poor guy a chance. It was so awkward and humiliating. But at least he didn't follow me around campus like a few others...
