VULFCERTS PRESENTS /// VULFPECK covers STEELY DAN

This is a potential new series I've thought about doing for a while, focusing on the songs that #Vulfpeck has covered over the years. Doing this type of series would showcase some shows that are under-represented for videos and audios.

#SteelyDan is a primary influence of several members of the band, and they used to do several covers in the early touring years. For this feature, I chose three covers from four shows:
00:00 Reelin' in the Years" - Shorts Brewery 2015 (which doesn't have much footage, but "Reelin" has two videos and there is fan audio of the whole show. Also there is much stankface from Woody, haha!)
04:52 "Peg" - The Neutral Zone 2016 (where we see Woody learn the song on the fly from Ian Finkelstein)
08:09 "Kid Charlemange" - Brooklyn Bowl Night 1 2016 with Bernard Purdie (he's on the record and this is the best performance of this song they did with him during the 4-night NYC residency)
13:05 "Peg" - Tipitina's 2018 (one of the last times The Dan was covered, and showcases #corywong doing his tribute to Jay Graydon on the guitar solo, as well as guest brass players Eric Benny Bloom & Melissa Gardiner)
