Tilda needs to be set as a floating application in a tiling window manager's configuration.

I keep my panels to a minimum - even on my awesomewm install. Thus, I keybind Stacer so that with a simple hit of Super+s I get all the system info I need, in graphical form, at a single glance. No conky, no widgets needed.

i still prefer cherrytree for notes, but obsidian is the first good alternative I've come across.

PS: rotfl, just tried obsidian, they have a vim mode. But before they allow to enable it, you have to answer a question for a vim command first, otherwise they won't let you, hehe :-D

Man, you just butchered the use case for Obsidian. The main selling point of Obsidian was not Markdown editor. But a tool for the Zettelkasten method of note taking i.e. linking your notes. It's community is huge and active, but that is secondary.
