I know this video was about Todo apps but people like to schedule todos and see them on a calendar. I really like the command line calendar program remind by roaring penguin. Wickedly powerful but you can use it simply and grow with it. You can schedule using an algorithm to include exceptions. Say your garbage pickup is every other Tuesday but a holiday lands during the week affecting pickup day no problem just modify the scheduling algorithm. The scheduled items go into a simple file or files in a folder and remind can read all the files in the folder with a rem extension. Add as many entries as you want with your favorite text editor for a given day and the calendar just expands. Wyrd is a TUI front end to remind.

Hey I know that is an old video, but what do you think about taskwarrior?
I know it is bad choice if you want sync your data, but in general it looks really powerfull

Uuu ant-dracula nice. I have used linux like a year but all kinds of Ant themes I've always loved. Thanks for you content too! Came here after DT's Shout out.
In the couple of days I learned to install arch and I did it many times. And I even bricked my whole laptop while trying to extend my small UEFI (100MB) forcefully hah. But I never got GNOME to work on Arch because I don't know how to (or understand even after reading) or what to configure since I have a dual-GPU system (Intel/nvidia). All I got was a blank screen and a blinking cursos, but I've now reverted to manjaro GNOME, which is fine. I started with Solus which is a great starting distro in my opinion. I really don't know where I was going with this tale, but it doesn't matter, all that matters that you got fine content.

interesting video but I don't understand why you didn't mention about Joplin..
I'm using Joplin as a main note taking and also to-do app after I've watched your video and you know what? I love it! Free, Open-Source and the data can be synchronised with various cloud services including Nextcloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, WebDAV or the file system.
