This is horrific. I know someone who has gone through this experience and she ended up being so broken emotionally she wasn’t herself for a few months. It was bad. I hope many people dont through this experience.

The problem is facebook doesnt shut down those accounts when reported. Both of my parents are lonely and live alone and have starter talking to fake accounts and are convinced they are the real celebrity. It's incredibly frustrating that they are not thinking logically, but this is what happens as people get older. Their judgment and rationality start to become impaired.

No famous person would ever ask any woman for money so as soon as someone asks you for money they are a scammer and block them right away .

There is an actor who is NOT on facebook. He found out that there was person pretending to be him. He reported it to facebook and talked to somebody with facebook. He demanded that they take it down. Did they NOPE.

Seems like Meta could prevent profile pics and account names that are celebrity names 🤷‍♀️

I seriously cannot believe that people really think that wealthy celebrities need money!! I am shocked that even when shown that this is a scam, some people don't believe it. It is so sad.

How can someone smart enough to have 290, 000 dollars be stupid enough to lose it like that?

If people like these are asking you for money, alarm bells should be ringing in your head. Most of them are millionaires, especially Phil Nickelson, who has MBS as his sugar daddy. Even Today show regulars are pulling in at least 6 figures. Please use your heads.

This is another reason I stay far far away from social media

First of all why would these celebrities need "your money or help?" Common sense tells you that they probably more than likely make way more than you do. Don't send anymore money to someone that you met in person.

These celebrities made plenty of money with whatever career they have. People should realize that it’s fake.
