This video is a personal one for me because it is presents the special city where my mother is from, the capital of Lebanon: Beirut. In its 7000 years of history, this city has been destroyed and rebuilt so many times but always keeps its special middle eastern beauty. Beirut has been always the city that broke the stereotypes of Middle East: there are as many christians as there are Muslims, there are no deserts and women are free as they are in the West. It is a combination of modern and traditional, new and old, European and Arabic culture, sea and mountains. And one of the best cities for food in the world…
