Lol apple is innovating in NFC not saying they did it. They said NFC is the standard.
Google wallet just never gets used.
Even if you hate it apple is going to cement NFC and mobile payments as a true form of payment.

Every android fan that didn't understand. In 2007 when the first iPhone released. They said they remake which means that they remake things from older devices better, like the MP3 player, yeah it was great, but then they came out with the iPod and it was easier to buy songs and you could even play games on it. Get it right android fans.

As an Android fan this is good news because most of the stores will enable wireless payment or replace old ones with wireless payment. Even though most of the stores have wireless payment-ready devices, they weren't used at all. Now that iPhone have it, its going to set 'paying with the phone' trend.
Apple is a trend setter. They have a knack of bringing existing technology to non-tech folks with simple and easy-to-understand interfaces. I have mad respect for them because of this.
