Just bought one for my pops. He’s was finally able to buy an actual Fender strat last year, usually buys the Squires and Epiphones. He has 2 Les Paul style Epiphones and has been saying for a few now how he’d love a actual Gibson and his little collection would be complete.
He picked up guitar about 2 years ago and it’s really helping him with his arthritis. My dad worked construction all his life and still found time to come home and spend time with his sons. He’s gonna be so happy when he sees this, I really can’t wait.
This SG looks amazing. I love the no flash raw look of it. This guitar came to melt face and that’s it!!

I'm not an SG guy but if i did get one this would probably be the one for me. I love the satin finish and full black pick guard combo. Even though i love Epiphone guitars, i personally haven't come across an SG that aesthetically calls to me like this one

Well, it’s a great guitar! I own one in cherry red and it’s My stage favourite, with My epiphone flying V korina! The SG.. rock n’roll machine!

I got one a few months ago and it plays really well. I tried it out in the shop through a Black Star amp cranked up and it did things to my insides. Looks really nice. I went in intending to buy a Fender Tele, but the SG has some advantages, namely being lighter in weight, and better access to the top frets. It didn't need any work either. It's got a good vintagey vibe to it.

The Gibson tribute is a Standard Sg with out the Binding and pickup covers everything else is exactly the same as the Standard 1967 and 68

i bought my 1999 sg standard used for 705$ usd in 2017 ( 900$ canadian money ) never regrets it

i do wan't a gibson sg, but im not sure wich im gonna buy Gibson SG Tribute, Vintage Cherry Satin look's nice and have a nice tone and it is on a good price, but i also want the Gibson SG Standard 61 Maestro Vibrola, Vintage Cherry it costs more, but it looks very nice and have good sound and the tailpiece makes the look even better.

Could you please suggest any good replacement tuners for GIbson SG Tribute. I don't like stock tuners because I have some tuning issues. So, please, suggest some certain good tuners model that will fit Gibson SG Tribute, maybe Grovers or Klusons. I do not want to drill headstock, so I'm looking for replacement tuners that will ideally fit stock tuners holes.

I have the Gibson Standard tribute Sg and I have the Epiphone modern figured Sg and the Epiphone modern Sg is the better guitar I do like my Gibson I just prefer the Epiphone more

It's practically the same Sg as the Gibson standard Sg just look at both specs there's your proof

This Standard tribute is nothing more than a Standard Sg only difference is no Binding or pickup covers everything else is exactly the same Binding and pickup covers made no difference to me anyway
