Additions they need in my opinion

1. All star game. We’ve had it before, no reason why we don’t have it anymore. Just laziness if you ask me. I at least want to see if my player made it.

2. Better playoff presentation. Make them feel like a big deal. Stat presentation, line matchups, regular season/recent history records for rivalries. (Third series in 4 seasons can they finally break through?)

3. Better free agency logic. Players signings wise. With the addition of no trade clauses. (A player may take a lower salary to get a ntc on a contending team, etc)

4. Better leadership mechanics. More than just presence and leader, with more leadership points making your teams chemistry higher etc. also better way to build young prospects to lockeroom leaders and captains.

5. Tweek coaching. A great coach doesn’t get players to fit their system. They are able to deploy multiple types of systems as opposed to other coaches who can’t adjust. Maybe a coach comes with line sets, and if you can match one up (SNP, PLY, PWF) you get a bonus for the line.

I really feel like they need to add a online franchise like in madden would be really great to win the cup against friends

OMG!!! Thank you Youtube Algorithm, I remember years back when I used to watch Yewy Franchise Modes because (along with 2BC) were the only good realistic GM modes on YouTube for NHL. Don't know how I lost touch, I am somehow still subscribed but I am really excited to see him back again!

Are there gamelogs? I like to tracking scoring streaks and stuff.

Is there way to practice with the team? I want to get better with them not just in games

I want:
1. All Star weekend with skills competition and also the match itself (also in bap)

2. Real coaches with real qualities and systems (I want Barry trotz, tortorella etc in game it would just look better.

3. More realistic free agency (who would sign klingberg for 10x14, 5? Yeah it really happened for me)

4. Adding kind of gm career that you start in europe or something like that and then you get offer to be assistant gm somewhere and then gm etc.

5. Franchise mode for other leagues than nhl (you loose the better players bcz of nhl but it can be still a lot of fun imo)

6. More realistic trade blocks (I am avs fan and why tf is Bowen Byram otb)

7. Idc about whole ncaa league but at least make those better players in franchise mode (also some khl prospects) Isles just look their 2nd goalies is some random 60ovr 18yo AHL fringe starter goalie, ottawa without Sanderson is nicely fucked etc

8. Make wjc, senior wc and Olympics be a part of game (but first customize national jerseys so they actually look at least a little bit real)
I want to scout players based on their playing style in those games (eg I see someone beeing a pwf or twf ply or whatever and I can also see like "hmph he has good shot but he skates slowly...." (also in bap I wanna be able to play for my country)

I know none of these points are likely to happen but I just wanted to share it with you.

With the record book now added, is it still a 25 Year limit on the gm Modes? Or can u do infinate. I rlly hope it’s infinate so after Year 5 in sum those players don’t finish their career

Question that I can't find an answer to anywhere:
Can you create multiple teams in Franchise Mode with created players or is is still just one "expansion team" only?

(NHL18 season mode used to allow you to replace all teams with created or other league teams but the franchise only allowed 1 created team to play with)

So will all the players at the trade deadline all get traded no matter what u you just let time go by? Wonder if that's a bit to premature as in the CPU will just make trades "just cause" they are there to teams who might not actually need specific players

Does it have the option for shorter seasons? Like 30 games instead of 82? alot of people have been asking for this for many many years. i think the last time EA had this was NHL 2002

I like the new feature they have added but the overalls and potential on so many players are just ridiculous. I mean Alex Nylander is a medium elite with one of the highest potential in Chicago. Before players like Kubalik, That doesn't make any sense. He hasn't shown that in real life. He is more a medium top 9.

What’s the roster limit post trade deadline? Is it still 23 or 50 like in real life?

While the deadline looks cool, the rest of it seems SO underwhelming. Very little has changed, and when you combine the presentation / menus being identical, its....so bland
