The issue is no competition anymore. With buying licenses they don't have to strive to make anything great. Most NHL fans will buy this just because its a new version. No different then what madden does.

I appreciate the fact that the ign scores are starting to get lower, but, why not more lower? They are producing a Copy+paste of the same game, and that alone should result in a 4 or lower. The only games in the ea sports franchise that recently got it is the switch versions of FIFA 21 and FIFA 20.

EA has been tanking in sports games for a decade now. The once mighty sports game giant is no more. Just quick bucks chasing is all they do now

I still play NHL 18 on PS4 and I still like it, I also play NHL games on PS3 sometimes. I was disapointing because EA won't release NHL games on Switch, that would be awsome to play portable hockey game.

I will never buy a modern EA sports game, they used to generally make quality games up until the 8th generation.

Nhl 13+14....ea sports.... Go back to where it went wrong at nhl 15 and bring us that next Gen nhl 22 next year please

NHL 21 was such a great improvement from NHL 20. I noticed so many new things and the feel of the gameplay is so much jk it’s the same exact game lol

This game is garbage solely due to the fact that the player overalls are wildly inaccurate and they still don’t have roster sharing to fix it
