Their love story is one of my very favourites. I love Greg, he's not just gorgeous and kind, but he's a fantastic actor and artist in his own right. Emma is stunning and incredibly talented and so very compassionate herself. They make a marvellous pair. I'm glad fate brought them together. Of all the films I've ever seen, the scene in Love Actually where Emma Thompson realized her husband hadn't bought the necklace for her, and then struggled to put on her happy face for her children, is the total standout moment from any actor in anything. I shamed myself in the cinema by letting out a really loud sob. Total perfection Emma, a small moment in a brilliant career in film, but one which I will never forget.

My ex cheated on me from the beginning but I was blind, or chose to be, the first few years. I found a lovely piece of jewelry which I never did get as a present. The best part is I did end up getting that gorgeous bracelet after all. By this time I knew all about his affairs and it was out in the open. Yes I stayed and for good reason. I would have lost my daughter. He threatened full custody and I knew he would win. His family knew the right people. His brother got full custody of 3 kids including a teenage daughter. He had convictions of DUI, armed robbery, and aggravated sexual assault. But, back to the lovely bracelet. One day he came back from playing tennis and said, oh look what I found while playing. Yes it was that lovely bracelet in the box I never got. I took it and kept my mouth shut. After I left him I wore the bracelet one day when we met at the lawyer's and was twirling it on my wrist and said to him, I guess that affair didn't work out after all. The look on his face!!!! Maybe I should write a book.

Unless they are living in LA, British actors don't consider themselves part of the 'Hollywood scene' just because they are in some Hollywood financed films!
I would say that goes for most European actors who feature in Hollywood films but still reside in their own countries.
