How to not think about scary things so you don't have a lucid nightmare

I need to warn everyone. I was once kinda lucid dreaming. That day I watched a documentary about plague doctors. In the dream a plague doctor appeared. I was shocked and a opened my mouth wide, cause of the surprise, then I though "what if the doctor stabbed my neck trough my mouth with that big nose?", and it happened. You need to be sure your lucid dream won't transform into a lucid nightmare. If you think about something it is hard to stop thinking about it on purpose, so if you think that your in th slenderman game, tou probably won't be able to get out. Be careful, your dream could turn into a nightmare

Yea when I lucid dream it’s usually not very pleasant as in I usually get either traumatized or in the lucid dream I get abused by someone I know and I can never get it to not be like that
