Avoid These Common Whitetail Deer Baiting Mistakes! I have had success over the years baiting deer. I have learned a lot of things including what not to do. I share my tips and tricks in this video to help everyone better their chances. Hunting is hard especially bow hunting. Depending on your setup and your property everything is different. With all that said this style of hunting can pay off if you stick to it. A lot of things still have to go your way even if you do everything right. That doesn't mean it can't happen though. Being patient and keeping a positive attitude has always lead me in the right direction. The little things make a big difference. I have learned things the hard way so you don't have to. Hopefully this helps all of you out!

Try a big bottle of artificial vanilla flavoring with a pin hole in the safely seal after you removed the screw of cap... that way, you can squeeze the plastic bottle and make it squirt out 10 or 15 feet.
They will absolutely bush hog, anything that has gotten the vanilla flavor on it's greenery... I honestly believe that they would eat a car tire if you poured it on it.

Scatter it don’t pile it. Nothing in nature puts food in a giant pile. Deer are much calmer feeding on bait that’s scattered plus they’re more likely to eventually turn at the right angle for a shot.

Just subscribed. I agree! I found pouring corn in small piles works better than only a feeder. In fact, I shot both bucks this Fall that came into a small pile of corn a ways off from my feeder.

Scratch grains for chickens work well for me. It's a mix of several grains deer on my property love.

Spray everything around the corn & thre corn with vanilla flavoring / water in spray bottle and it will attract deer for miles and when u go hunt spray more vanilla and if u spray the bucks will come your way ...

I use the tractor supply pride corn with apple crush or persimmon crush and my does and bucks love it.

To get deer coming to a new spot i mix apple corn in with the regular corn. It has a strong aroma they can smell a long ways away and the apple helps. If there are no apple trees it doesn't matter. They will come! Once i watch the camera for a week and there's some nice bucks I'll add rice bran pellets, cattle cubes 12 % and 20% . They love it ! Sometimes I'll put out alfalfa bales in the spots too and if hood spots I'll put minerals and water troughs. They drink them gone ! If they have everything in one spot they don't go far except to look for love ... lol. But late season they really hit the food to recover from the rut and by then not a lot in the woods for them .

I love it when all my neighbors bait and 5he big bucks start showing up on my land. Most mature deer in southern mich won't touch a pile of food during daylight.

If you find a sunny spot put clover out even a small spot helps

Putting out corn etc. or standing soybeans, standing corn, brassicas - cereal grains - clover kill plots, apple trees, persimmon trees etc. etc. six is one half a dozen is the other. Holier than Thou Karens worry about your own self. -W. Liggett

I just put 300Ib of corn and 20Ib carrot and 20Ib of cabbage on my 40 acres land about 2 day ago. Last month i put 200Ib of corn and the deer ate every thing, noting left.
