Born and raised in Idaho 52+ years. My Father and grandparents live/d outside of the area you were talking about in the first story and we had a farm up there in the rural area. You have to know that there are people that go up in those forests to be left the hell alone and would not bat an eye lash at shooting you up and feeding you to their hogs.

When I was homeless, I spent my first summer living in the Bob Marshall's, in the Rockies.
Guarantee you there's people living in the mountains. They don't want to be bothered. A lot of them are veterans.
Firest rangers are generally aware of them and don't bother them, because who wants to try to creep up on armed veterans living in the woods?

First story was one of those that make you go "Dude, you ain't right in the head" I'm glad that guy left the cabin knowing you ratted him out. Probably thought he could get you to think alittle and realize there is a God before you die. I'm sure he doesn't want to stumble upon you again since you are a liar.
