Ingredients:
3 slices of bacon, chopped and cooked crispy
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 banana, sliced
In a small sauté pan, heat the maple syrup on medium heat and add bananas. Cook and stir frequently until caramelized.
4 cups bread, cubed
3 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, eggs and milk. Whisk well to incorporate all ingredients. Add the bread and mix well then add the bacon and bananas. Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased casserole dish. Preheat the oven to 375° and bake for 20 minutes.
