Once again you're a creator that is doing a true service to the community, I imagine if you got paid what you were worth for this you'd be a millionaire overnight.

As a chap who has migrated to sailing boats from commercial inshore fishing boats, I find your tutorials most informative. Thankyou

Great video. I am sailing more than 20 years, I read a lot of books about trimming, but this video is really very helpful for all sailors!!

That sums up my sailing instruction 60 years ago. "Sails are most efficient when they are on the verge of luffing." So, you let out the sail until it starts to luff, then trim the sail in until the luffing stops. I have always loved simplicity. We tend to over-complicate matters. A child can sail well with this adage.

Fantastic videos on sail trim. I've been trying to get my head round sail trim for a little while now but these 2 videos are absolutely the best. All sailing boat sailors should watch these. Thank you so much for making these and sharing.

Cheerio coconutfreaks. I bingewatched your phantastic tutorials on rigging. Really great. You must have spent hours to edit these videos. Superb is also the narration. Very pleasant to follow along. Thank you very very much.

Brilliant!! Just bought a yacht after 25 years since sailing last, haven't taken delivery yet so I'm brushing up on what I've forgotten. These 2 videos have been extremely helpful.
I bought a Macgregor 26X and yes I know, I know.... But I like the simplicity of the layout (minimal sail setting options), perfect for the novice solo sailor. And these days, I ain't in no

Isn't adjusting the car/traveler for a jib under load generally not advised?

ib basic sail trim #2 at 4min 36. what do you mean by 'moving the sheet traveller aft" ? Isn't the sheet traveler fíxed in place? How can you move it aft?

For a headsail in LOW winds you would more the jib car FORWARD. You have this wrong in your video. LOW winds = Forard (more bottome curve) High winds = BACK (flatten bottom)
