Not everyone knows about changing this one setting in Fallout 76 to improve VATS gameplay.

I turn off power armor hud specifically because it hides map quest markers.

Cracking tip, I've been playing since release and haven't once thought about doing this.
I always click out of vats when I want to jump, doing this is going to change the how I play the game.

Dang, my old head didn't even think of that... The amount of times I'm in vats and try to jump had been painful... Now i can finally jump out the way...

For PlayStation L1 for me fingers never leave the sticks good for pvp

Oh I did that back on Skyrim and on all the other fallouts, switching the two buttons, it helps though.

I wish they had something to reduce partical effects. Then maybe I can see during combat.

i have a custom load out with the buttons. i changed them all around

You can repair all of the in game bugs with one button too. Click logout

I despise VATS in Fallout 76. It's hopelessly overused and ruins whatever skill people need for accuracy. Furthermore, it's a devastating tactic player killers use against other players that guarantees a quick kill against practically anyone. You can still come back and get your revenge, but only if they're stupid enough to stay on the same server as you. And even if you are lucky enough to find them on another server, you're the one that gets tagged as the bad guy if you do anything to them. Total BS.
