Half the answer: As in the video, it doesn't.

Half the answer: Capitalist Time (sociology concept) was made to standardized thing. It doesn't want to accomodate nature. CT created hour changes to accomodate itself in a pre-electric society. With modern technology, hour changes don't even make sense in CT anymore but it survives on momentum. An institution's first goal is always to self-perpetuate (they collapse otherwise). CT isn't real. It's just a social construct. One that doesn't want to change easily. It will fight to preserve itself and its outdated aspects for as long as it can.

(Note: CT isn't unique to capitalism. It isn't even invented by the first forms of capitalism so its not necessary to capitalism. It just became a thing with industrial capitalism.
Given the main possible path global economies are going in; it will outlive financial capitalism. Neo-Feodalism/ Neo--Feodal Capitalism, State Capitalism, New Profit/Post-Financial Capitalism, Democratic Capitalism/Market Socialism; They ALL would maintain CT.)
