Been using this for many years and I find it to be the best fan control software I have ever used.

I think I might try this one. I used to use the one that MSI made for their motherboard but I didn't like how annoying it was to get it to open user interface screens and how often it wanted to update the software rather than let me do anything.

Should a home-user be mucking around with the fan speed? If set incorrectly you risk heat build-up, so how do you know which is correct?

I have the control software via signalRGB on my personal rig which has a custom Waterloop in it and use the bios fan controllers for my kids PC

i have my laptop on 4 wooden 3/4" blocks with a small desk fan blowing over the top and underneath of the laptop...still running fine after 10 years

Unfortunately mine don't speed up or down when using the sliders, despite being detected and showing the RPM. I'm using a Corsair plugin for my Elite Capillex h150i. It also doesn't work on my 6950 XT, which doesn't require a plugin to be detected.

Anyone else have this problem and a workaround?

Don't work on some fan control boxes, example... Aero Cool, as they have 2 wire pmw fan headers, fan control ONLY works on 4 wire pmw fan/ controllers

It ony detects the CPU and GPU fans and no others. sadly.

My Acer Nitro laptop has Nitro Sence. You can control the Two fan speeds from this software.👍

Anyone still use speefan? Is this better? i have speedfan still but it feels outdated but still works well and does the job
