Not sure what Sagar means about not being a veteran. If you serve and discharge honorably, you're a veteran. My brother spent 4 years in the Marines, never left the country and he's a vet.

Navy Veteran here. Saagar doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. You need to start the process of retirement at least a year before you either retire or leave. The military all supports each other so those forward deployed units rely on the work, logistics, and intel of those stationed in other areas to succeed. Walz said he has handled weapons of war and he has. Pathetic excuse of a half-assed attack by Saagar.

Is Saagar really saying you aren't a veteran if you weren't in combat? The 80% of the military that supports those combat veterans would like a word

My husband is a veteran, not a combat veteran. Still a veteran. So yes Walz is a veteran.

I liked Sager until now. Just lost all respect for him. My stepfather joined during Vietnam to serve his country. He was stationed stateside. It destroyed him his whole life. He qualifies for veterans benefits that he won’t get even though in need he needs them. G.I.’s don’t get to pick where they are stationed, but they sign up to serve and risk their lives all equally.

JD Vance was a reporter in the military. They’re making it out like he was Rambo.

Saagar, what did JD Vance actually do in combat? My understanding is he did PR.

Stolen valor is a term for the behavior of military impostors: individuals who lie about serving in the military or the extent of their military service.

The guy who's entire job is to sit behind a desk and talk about crap, says "You can't claim you are a veteran if you never served in the war"? WTF is this guy talking about.

Does Saagar not realize what the bases in Italy actually do? Yes they support OEF, I served in Germany in support of AFRICOM and OEF, my man you just sound stupid to vets like myself

Saagar is 100% wrong in saying he cant see he is a veteran of enduring freedom, he was involved in it regardless if any direct conflict. In the same way that vance has every right to say he is a veteran even though he did press

Dude was a National Guard for the minimum 20 years needed, reenlisted for 4 more due to 9/11 and retired at 41, 5 months before deployment, a process that takes over a year formalize…in 2005. Also, WTF you think he was doing as a NATIONAL GUARD in the 80s and 90’s, espionage in Soviet Russia?? Storming Iraq? I can’t with these people.

Saagar doesn't know what makes a veteran a veteran. Confidentially incorrect.

"The Iraq war was a good idea." - JD Vance

JD Vance was 21 when he deployed as a CORRESPONDENT. He's comparing his 21-year-old self who deployed and saw zero combat to a man who served 27 years and retired from military service at age 41. The argument of "You should have went to war at age 41 because I was deployed to do combat journalism at age 21" is just embarrassingly week.

Somebody said Saager needs to stop being JD Vance's couch cushion 🤣

Imagine serving for 24 years and being yelled at for retiring, and avoiding getting deployed to a unanimously agreed upon unjust war.
