Thanks for bringing PUBG back into your testing! Great comparisons!

You are not going to notice any difference between them in the real world unless you are literally FPS watching as you play. So whichever you can get cheapest and even then if your current system plays everything at decent FPS then that is just fine to hold on to

Can you test the 13900K with the E-cores both "on" and "off"?

I'm liking what I'm seeing from both. We'll see how prices look next year or so. I'm on AM4 currently, and have been with AMD the since AM3+ days and wouldn't mind going Intel, especially if the pricing stays competitively lower. I also like the 13700k pricing better and am waiting for those tests

That 13900k is staggering, how its getting that performance on just that wattage is incredible! hope mine turns up soon! figures that the 4090 is still bottlenecked though, they are a monster!

Amazing, Intel CPU price cheaper with high fps.

Update 1: AMD drop price reason, fighting to opposition. That a reason.

I love how the 4090 is casually at 40° lol.

Interesting that the RTX4090 works harder and consumes more power on the i9 than the R9 (Forza, Witcher, MSF, Cyberpunk), but also at the same time there are games with the R9 that the RTX4090 works harder but does not perform much better.

Something I've noticed it's, that aside from AMD using more RAM in all games except for Hitman 3, that as far I as remember, it's a game that uses more effectively the CPUs, GPU at times it's used almost everything of it with AMD, like in Red Dead Redemption 2 and in God of War, it goes above 90%, sometimes 92% other times 96%.

feel like cpus have become so fast that u can go with either and not leave much on the table. both have incredible performance IMO

EDIT: regardless of price. cba with everyone telling me that am5 is expensive (i know it's expensive)

Yeah, the 13900K is a great gaming CPU.
Now we all wait for the 13900KS with 6 GHz on the performance cores !!

Best possible kit for cost benefit will be the 13600K + rtx 4070.

I was wondering why the FPS was crazy high compared to what I'm used to seeing but then I saw you are using a 4090 so it made sense lmao. I keep forgetting it's a thing now

2 more tests:
- e-cores off vs e-cores on
- 13900k PL 90w vs 7950X PL 90w

Can you please test the ryzen 7600x with a different memory speed from 4800 to 6000, was wondering if a cheap 2x8gb ddr5 4800 ram would make any value

to be fair the 7000 series was meant to beat out the 12th gen intel so i am not surprised that 13th gen beats it out, good comparison tho!
