Alternate:
Smudge goes to join the Clans, with Firestar giving the excuse that there aren't enough warriors even if they still have more than the other Clans, and before you know it the Clan undermines him for being a kittypet. Smudge joins as Rustypaw (Because Firestar said so) and like a week later, he becomes a warrior, Rustyheart. He eventually becomes a big powerful deputy ("Scoot over, Brambleclaw! You're Just. Like. Your FATHA") And becomes leader when Firestar dies.
The end.

Also, he defeats all the Tigerstar clones and is invincible before dying by a runaway tree.
