at Chevys celebrity roast at the Friers Club, none of his friends came to roast him, so a bunch of comics he didn't know did it.
That's the reason he wore sunglasses, so nobody seen him crying.

I saw Chevy in person a few summers ago and I can absolutely confirm about him being an unpleasant person. I absolutely believe everything that's been said about him and don't blame other celebs for hating him. The guy's a complete a-hole.

So Chevy lives in my area (in Westchester County NY), and we went to the same physio place (my insurance company was GOATED for sending me to such an awesome place for my hill-Sachs lesion). They had a picture of Chevy up for a bit since he came, but EVERY person who worked on him had nothing but AWFUL things to say. My fave physio person, she was the sweetest, and she happened to be Asian- apparently when Chevy would see her, he’d take his fingers, make Chinese eyes and stick his teeth out his mouth to greet her… but he paid em all a lot of money. And generally didn’t bother folks? Jk. Oh and he’s a terrible parker. I had to come in after my shoulder had dislocated again, and I was running late since I had to pull over on my way since I have arthritis in my shoulder joint. But I get there and Chevy is right ahead of me. And he knows I’m trying to park. He starts backing up INTO MY CAR forcing me to back up. Then intentionally double parks. I find a space and like an idiot I go up to confront him.

“Hey asshole, why’d you nearly hit my car???” And he looks me, a young 22 year old Indian female, up and down, smirks and says “aren’t you a little young to talk like that” in the most DISGUSTING TONE IVE EVER I’m pretty sure I flipped him off, ran inside and bc everyone in the front noticed his annoying car in the parking lot, they just quickly took me to my room and left Chevy waiting in the airing room for like 20 minutes.

If anyone actually likes him I’d be shocked.

I was a Chevy Chase fan, way back when... before all this dirt came out.
His extremely short lived talk show was karmic payback though. It was absolutely truly horrible and I think even his most bitter enemies would still feel bad for him after it

Yeah he was at a convention near me this weekend December 9th-11th 2022 and him being one of the headliners is a big reason I didn't go

I know shorts aren't really supposed to be high production quality, but holding what looks like a lapel mic up to the mouth is a sure fire way to ruin the audio and introduce distortion.

Never liked Chevy Chase. I tend to agree with Bill Murray—he’s a medium talent at best.

Love Chevy Chase. But I rarely hear anything but him being incredibly difficult to work with.

There are so many SNL alum that I wouldn't find funny or entertaining, as a coworker or as an Uncle or less being backed by a network on a mainstream show. Chevy Chase is one of those guys to me. If it's not around Christmas and he isn't Clark Griswold, get Chevy Chase off my television!
However, saying lick my balls in gest isn't anything a grade school kid hasn't dealt with for years. (I mean from other kids, not Chase....at least to my knowledge) Unless it was like sincerely requested or suggestive, it's nonsense. Ppl need to be called out for real misdeeds, not any and every trivial moment an adult needs to be able to shut down themselves.
