I really appreciate it when actors stick up for the writing of their characters because there are major problems with characters in a show that goes on for several seasons where the writers or producers end up completely mischaracterizing them.

Literally to this day people still think of Jim and Pam as relationship goals. Their relationship might have been fictional, but it’s given a lot of people inspiration.

Yeah, suits always have a mindset that drama equals good, but when something is established well, of course, it will get backlash because they ruin the characters' true nature that way.

Listen to the actor who plays the character. They know the character. Ryan Reynolds told the director that sowing deadpool's mouth shut was a terrible idea. Who was right? Duh

I don't even watch the show but I know that whenever you change the fundamental character of one of those types of people it pisses everyone off.
