Your story about being in the makeup store reminded me of my husband and our then 8th grade daughter. She was dressing up for some big event. She proceeded to, in MUCH detail describe what she was going to wear. How she was going to fix her hair yada yada yada. My husband was very attuned and "pretended " he was interested. When she left the room, he looked at me like 🤷. Like why on earth would she think I'd be interested in this??? However he NEVER let on that he could care less about her hair or whatever. He wanted to show her that he delighted in her. We told her a few years later what her Dad said behind her back. We all had a good laugh. Dad's are so important!

Love it! Thank you for the reminder to focus on my 4 young men’s hearts. I want them to follow the LORD and it’s not a “brain” thing.😊

I'm 38 and what you said about parents just assuming that their kids know certain things about right and wrong, and basically leaving them to themselves hit home hard. This is my story. It's been happening for a long time.

Hey Pastor Mark, thank you very much for this video! I have a son who is on the spectrum and he is a teenager, so I am get the best of both worlds here. Still working on healthy communication with him. In reference to your autoimmune situation, I have recently started the carnivore diet and am seeing amazing results! I have heard testimonials of people with your condition who are on this diet, and their symptoms have almost completely gone away. Just thought it might help you too! There are a ton of videos on YouTube about it. Blessings!

Oh Wow! Mark, as the phrase goes, you are 'bringing it' BIG TIME in this teaching! I want to encourage anyone reading this that they CAN overcome whatever they're dealing with... I've been on this journey for awhile & God is faithful. Im experiencing more peace love & joy than I ever have & I no longer live in fear & anxiety & shame as I did. I felt disconnected from God for so long & now I'm walking with Him in a whole new level of freedom & healing. If He did it for me, He will do it for YOU! And it all started with learning to receive His love & believe I'm fully accepted by Him. OCD is extremely difficult BUT nothing is bigger than the love of our Father who is ' able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine'... I'm so thankful! And thankful for this ministry and how God has used it in my life & continues to do so

Mark. These lives are beyond helpful. I thought I had several favs in the Narcissist series.
Now I seem to have a new fav.
I believe the things you two said about the family, the REAL nuclear family are gems. They are pearls that come with experience and love and Grace being extended.
A huge blessing to my evening.
Thank you both ❤️🥰☝🏼

Currently in the process of trying to deconstruct things I feel like I have learned that aren’t right and trying to find out what the actual truth is but during this process, I am scared quite a bit. I have been living in fear, and I’m nervous that I could be outside The faith. so prayer would be helpful.

I really appreciate when you both are able to do a video together. I love and enjoy the balance it brings. Religion and church can be or feel so condemning at times. Like God doesn’t love me when i mess up. You both make it much more simpler, you always do!❤🎁🙏🏻
Thank you for all you do💕🤗

I was glad you mentioned health issues. I have autoimmune issues as well and I have tried everything to reduce the inflammation and pain and nothing works. I don't want to take a lot of unhealthy NSAIDS. It would seem because of my CPTSD my pain is from nervous system dysregulation. They talk a lot about how to release stored trauma with somatic movement ect. Can embracing God's love heal these things or do we sometimes need other interventions? I feel guilty taking meds or looking for answers in the world. What do you think?

Where to draw the line is always a question because it just is. And it varies by child. You two are doing an awesome job with your kids. I'm not just being encouraging. I have years of exp and several more fancy papers than the one that was required.
