Today the shop manager writes to me that a customer has found a "snow bike kit for an electric bike, but cheaper" .
⠀
I contacted this potential customer, explained why this product should be bought from us, even though it was more expensive. In response, I received a rebuke as to why he is my subscriber didn't know about these arguments earlier.

I stand corrected. Here's the gist:

1. there's no competitor's proven product. At all. There is only a Chinese mock-up. Ask for a video of this snowbike kit with tests on an electric bike. If there isn't one, the trials will be done on your dime. We did tests all last season and a lot of important little things came out there that could make the product substandard. Our kits are already making the rounds of the snow all over the world and our competitors have only just put them on the stand.

2. "Exactly the same" is a deliberate lie. Our competitors were not involved in these tests, they cannot know "what it is". So the similarity can only be in the "electric motorbike" part. And it can be very different.

3. reliability. Our Snowbike kit can make it through loose, deep snow. We've been designing and producing tracked chassis since 2015. Ask our competitors to demonstrate this experience or accept that this product will last a couple of weeks at most.

4. Contact area, kit weight and hitch height.
This determines whether your electric motorbike on a track set will ride at all on fluff or wet heavy snow. A lot of people confuse tracked chassis. Like it's going to go somehow. So, with a weak caterpillar kit, it will not go. At the most, it'll just take the cleared paths.

5. What is the kit made of? The quality of materials can be rubbish. And the seller of the kit may not know their actual quality in good faith unless they have a direct contract with the factory supplier. Hence poor performance, bad customer emotions, and a ruined weekend.
