He's such a great father and Acharya Ji is such a great teacher. The daughter is so lucky to have such an amazing guardian. Wish all parents were like this.

I'm glad the girl opened up about this with her parents.

I m in my mid twenties and whatever acharya ji is saying is true. When you spend time with women who came before you and paved the way for future generations, you understand your privilege and also your responsibilities towards next generation. I read extensively about women revolutionaries like pritilata waddedar, kalpana dutt, shanti ghosh, suniti chowdhry, prakashwati pal, durga devi vohra, these women were all in their early 20s ready to sacrifice their lives for the country.Reading their live stories will make you question what you are doing with your life . Reading is very important for women especially coz we have been taught from very young age to have three eyes instead of two. The third eye through which you should know what the society demands of you. It's really cruel and inhumane the way women have been conditioned to live their lives through their third eye.

The question raised by a concerned father is so thought provoking.

Why raise your girl as a princess, when you can raise her as a warrior.

About women not watching women playing cricket or other sports : I think we as girls are not encouraged ( sometimes not allowed ) to play sports. I see boys running to the grounds in the afternoon daily since my childhood days. Where us, girls used to stay at home after school. Even in boys' school the grounds are bigger and the authority arrange interschool sport matches where is girls' school we are told to attend one PT class once a week only.

This is the reason most of the girls don't relate to sports . The 'going to the ground after school ' culture never been inculcated into as. We need the change that first. Only then WPL will also generate equal viewership as IPL

Its exactly I felt. I am good at studies. I work hard. I am captain of Volleyball. I am very good at singing and dancing, wins many competition of school.
However, I am modest, even dont know to do makeup and making boy friend is thing I dont know. All the friends around me are so beautiful, preety, stylish, ....They are liked by everyone. And I felt so so so inferior.
And yes like Guru jee, Diary and books has become my saviour.
To all girls out there, you are made in perfect way by god.

Acharya Ji, you basically panned out my life till now. I wasn't introduced to any role model and hence ran around nonsensical things for 30 years of my life. When life hit me and I fell hard on the harsh real ground, I had to unlearn whatever I was taught since my inception and the strength I now feel in me fills my whole heart and drives me every passing second to strive for excellence and being a better version of me. Thank you Acharya. 🙏

She has to be introduced to women who really are worthy of being remembered. And then her internal standards will rise to a point where she will stop caring about the hipsters. Otherwise, if she thinks these are the only ones to compare herself to, obviously she will feel disadvantaged and left behind.

Why must you allow your environment dictate your standards? Let those standards come from books and documentaries, videos, and other places. Books primarily.

Give her real solid role models.

Just give her great role models. Give her great books. See what her preferred mode of assimilation is. If it is visual, take her to the right documentaries, the right movies.

Women worth emulating, women worth worshipping. Why must we not introduce those role models to our daughters?

The names are comparatively fewer when it comes women, but they do exist.

In all walks of life, you have women role models.

8:06, how some bollywood movies show intelligent and studious kids boring and timid, but some verbose, mediocre fellow one smart and cool
