A Cal figure would've been great to go with the little BD-1 on the display plaque but that really would be an extra rather than an expectation.

It’s so weird seeing BD in these colors, cause as soon as I unlocked alternatives in the game, mine was never that color 😂

If only they were to make the a Mantis set (the main spaceship from Jedi: Fallen Order).
The fin on the top reminds me of the Separatist Shuttle. That set also needs a remake, by the way.

I hope we get more Jedi Fallen Order/Jedi Survivor sets as the games have bountiful source material The Mantis, ATST remake, Inquisitor Tie, Police Tie vehicles, etc.

I'm really liking this UCS BD1 the overall size and scale is near enough 1:1 the shaping is really good and the details in the legs and stem packs are cool to see. This would pair well with the R2D2 and The Child. I may have to focus on getting these but still backlogged on the 2019 Millennium Falcon and Boba's Starship

The first thing I thought of when I saw the head, and the lack of movement, was the Lego Ideas WALL-E set from a few years ago, which received that fix where instead of a ratcheted joint it was updated with the BIonicle style ball and socket joint. I wonder if a Bionicle style ball and socket joint would help this model in the way it helped WALL-E?

I'm so glad they made this into a set. Fallen Order wasn't a perfect game but BD-1 was one of the best parts of it.

As soon as I heard the rumor I knew I was going to get the BD-1. It’s definitely one of if not my favorite droid from Star Wars, so seeing how well the model was made and how expressive it is really makes me feel good about purchasing it!

Is it just me or does it seem like LEGO has a sweet spot at $100. This is the 3rd recent set (2 SW, 1 CS) that are at that mark and the review and overall set have been quite good.
