Thank you so much for the amazing video! We really appreciate the great walkthrough of the PTM-10 product. We are not surprised that a professional user like you would expect a more heavy build metal bodypack and we are aware of some possible improvements for the M10 system, including upgrading the earbud and changing the bodypack to metal. We keep the system as it is because of cost control. We hope that this system can be a cost-effective and accessible choice with really decent quality so that people can actually use it in live and small venues. However, we will launch a more advanced model, the PTM-100, with a metal bodypack and automatic frequency search function to cater to more professional needs. Again, thank you so much for such an in-depth review and your suggestion to get this system better!🥰🥰🥰

I've had one of these from phenyx for about a year. Wife uses it.. and it's great... I also have some of their mics.. works great when it's 2- 3.. any more and they don't don't play well together... even with frequency changes.. but overall in ears from them are great..

FYI, we've used this unit for our services to provide a shared mix wirelessly to our praise singers. We have five receivers (body packs) all set to the same frequency as the transmitter. It works great.

If you do need to change the frequency it is simple to do. There are also, IIRC, some options you can set in the receivers if needed: simple EQ, mono/stereo, etc. Not as many as you'd find in a Shure or Sennheiser unit, but it gets the job done. I spent some time fiddling with it when we first got it, just because that's what I do, but never had to touch it since.

In our experience, the build quality is good. It survived a flood in our building. Not submerged, but exposed to splashes and humidity.

With my Audio64 in-ears I do hear some noise from the unit, but it's a normal amount, about the same as you'd hear from an Aviom mixer. Not at all a problem once you've got any signal coming through the unit.

The only thing I wish was different is that it has a purely digital power switch. Meaning, if you have it plugged into a power strip and you turn off the strip, then turn the power strip back on, you still need to turn this unit on separately. For this reason we have ours mounted on a mic stand onstage so the singers can easily reach it. It will not power on automatically when we turn on power to the system as a whole.

If I was making the decision again, I'd buy this unit again.

i would use this pack because our personal roland m-48 monitoring system is on a cat 5 system and the cable is too short so it sucks.

Don't know what you're using for a table, but good god it's loud.

I tried the unit. For some reason, it picks up too much static, even when listened directly on the transmitter, both will XLR input (or even without any input connection, just the unit by itself). I had the unit replaced but still run into same static issue. Enabled the -12db pad, bit better but too much static noise. Wanted to like it based on the reviews but couldn't use it.

Good lord, next time mute your audio track while you banging around on the table, the mic booming is horrible.

I’m stuck with a p16 behind the kit 😭 only good thing i can blast the sound in comparison to the packs the bassist/guitarist/singers use.
