Early last year we reviewed a few of the budget in-ear models I had personally picked up over the years and the resulting video ended up being incredibly popular (and stirred up some spicy YouTube comments conversation!)

Soooooo....

We decided to go all in this time around and do a mega review to find the absolute best in-ear monitors around for under $100.

To prepare, we researched our faces off to find eleven different models to compare on our hunt for the absolute best. We unbox all the in ears in this video and you'll get info on each pair's fit build quality and most importantly whether they sound good enough to merit a purchase.

The pair that ended up at number one by my judgement was nowhere near the top of my list before we did this video, so you've got to check this out!

TOP PICKS:

ULTRA BUDGET IN-EARS $18-$25

MID-TIER IN-EARS $40-$60

HIGH END IN-EARS

ACCESSORIES:
Replacement Foam Buds/Tips
*Make sure you research the correct size for which model in-ears you own, most KZ models seem to work with Comply Tx-500

We recommend choosing models “without mic” as cables with a built-in mic can sometimes cause interference issues with different stage monitor boxes/wireless packs.

I just got a pair of KZ ZS10 Pros and I think they’re fantastic. With dozens of choices out there, your reviews helped tremendously. You saved me about $100 and many hours of research.

I am not a religious individual, but this video was really helpful when it came to picking up a pair of good earbuds on a budget. Thank you!

Bought my KZ ZS10 pro's a week ago and they're the best sounding things I've ever put on my ears. No matter the price. Considering they're only $45, it's not even a question if it's a buy. I also have ES 4s, don't recommend not good. The ZS5'S are incredible for the price, but ZS10 pros are best.

I have been using Shure SE215’s with custom mould sleeves for a few years. They have served their purpose but due to the moulds not fitting properly anymore I needed to either get new moulds or try something new. Whilst the SE215’s + custom mould sleeves served their purpose, I haven’t been totally satisfied with them and after watching this and other videos I decided to try the newer KZ ZS10 Pro-X and so far I have to say I’m extremely impressed with these. They are a complete step up from the SE215’s in sound and surprisingly they fit better and I get better isolation from external sources. They also stay in place better than the custom moulds!

Thank you very much...this video saved me lots of money. I bought the ZS10 Pros and i was so surprised how awesome they sound. I wanted to buy 3 more models for my father and my nephews. Then i found out they have those with 8 Drivers and though they cost at the moment something like 90Euros compared to the 35Euros for the ZS10s i thought i go for the BEST. But the comfort on the ZS10s is already on the edge for long term usage, and you tell me now the comfort is heavier on the 16s and that the sound is not worth the upgrade. I will order more ZS10s now. Thanks buddy ! Appreciated, exactly what i was looking for ! Keep it up !
.
best regards from Germany

One question, the kz in ear in amazon comes in 2 types with mic and without mic. Their prizes varies a lot, are there any difference in quality? Please explain.

I'm so glad they are putting more sound technology into budget wire buds. Great job on these nice detachable cable models. Good show.

Fantastic review. There was enough depth/breakdown without getting bogged down by useless filler material! As a drummer I’m strongly considering the THE FRAGRANT ZITHER in Ear Headphone, TFZ T2. Surprised by the lack of reviews on Amazon for these IEMs though…🤷‍♂️🤔

My daily driver IEM is the Fiio FH7’s but my budget pick would definitely be the Blon BL03’s. You can usually find them for $30 and under.

This was a very helpful video, super informative. I have the Shure 215’s and agree with you. They are somewhat bright and lacking in the bass department. But they are 10 years old and very comfortable. However, based on your presentation, it may be time for a change. Thank you!

I'm listening to this with my KZ ZS10 Pro's that I've had for about a year now and damn these things can take serious abuse. I use them for everything, travelling, doing work around the yard, you name it. Never gave me trouble and they sound solid. I'm thinking about upgrading though and the Whizzer HE01 look like a wicked pair. I'd be dope to see you review them.

Thank you for this video. I grabbed the T2G in ear monitors for my video editing. I got them and they sound great. Thanks again for the individual reviews.

Like your well paced, laid back style of review of the budget IEMs. I have the KZ ZS10 pro. Out of the box they sound a bit bright, even harsh. However, after 200 hours burn in and swap with the foam tips, they sound so good. I could hear the details I never heard before with other earphones. I'm glad that I got the ZS10 pro.

Totally agree on that TFZ T2 GALAXY take number one spot, they are incredible. Another iem that is getting raving reviews are the WHIZZER KYLIN HE01.

Great video, but what made you change your mind about the KZ AS16? last year video you liked them.
now the real question is wish one will you recommend for a singer? I'm leaning more towards KZ AS16 or KZ AS10, please let me know what you think.
thank you.

I grabbed a couple of the ZS10 pros for me and my girlfriend in black and blue to use for casual listening instead of the typical stock ear buds that come with Samsung phones. I must say that we both love them for the fit and sound considering the price and compared to the galaxy buds. I think I'll be happy to try some foam tips for both of us to try for added comfort and maybe some nicer looking and feeling cables in the future.
