Sometimes Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

People try to predict the economy not realizing it is not a capitalistic market, its a command economy, central planning! my concern is, instead of having much dollar in bank that could lose value to inflation, do I save in gold to reserve and grow wealth for now, or just hang on?

I want to invest roughly $70, 000 in stocks since I've heard that even in challenging times, investors may turn a profit. Any excellent ideas for stock?

I'm considering a review of my $60K portfolio allocations, particularly in light of the pause in interest rate hikes. I'm eyeing some high-risk, high-reward opportunities. Crypto and emerging markets seem intriguing. Anyone else exploring these?

The absence of stock investments has left me with a sense of remorse, albeit I'm appreciative of my decision to maintain funds in the money market. With roughly $200k nearing maturity, I'm gearing up to step into the stock market. Could you advise me on suitable stocks for a beginner looking to steadily increase their capital?

I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, especially given the present rollercoaster nature of the stock market, because 35% of my $270k portfolio consists of plunging stocks that were once respected, and I'm at a loss for what to do now.

Really, banks require more regulation. The entire idea of banking as "let's gamble" is terrifying. Because they discovered in 2008 that the government will always bail them out, there are no repercussions. These bank crisis are so worrisome. This whole financial crisis and the Great Recession posed the most significant macroeconomic challenges for the United States in a half-century, leaving behind high unemployment and below-target inflation and calling for highly accommodative monetary policies. And this is only the beginning!

I'm considering investing around $700, 000 in stocks as I've learned that savvy investors can still profit during challenging times. Do you have any solid stock market strategies

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

You work for a 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a bitcion coin for just fe months and now they are multimillionaires thanks to Charlotte Grace Miller

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can’t be over emphasized for first - time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

Investing prospects of a minimal sum of money can be both exhilarating and baseless. With the right approach, there’s a potential for significant wealth growth, Judging by this i'm still in search for suggestions as to a way to improve my retirement portfolio of $80k

I’ve been diligently working, saving and contributing towards financial freedom and early retirement, but the economy so far since the pandemic has eaten away most of my portfolio, what I want to know is this: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets or do I look into alternative sectors.

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $160K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies

The ongoing banking crisis is far from reaching a resolution. Those with more than a decade of experience understand that credit crises do not dissipate within a mere two weeks. It's amusing to witness some people believing that everything has already concluded so swiftly. We are currently witnessing a credit contraction that will inevitably result in a substantial overall contraction.

The most significant lesson I gained from the stock market in 2023 is that uncertainty prevails, emphasizing the importance of humility. Adhering to a long-term strategy with a competitive edge is key.

There will likely be no end to the current banking crisis very soon. Experts with over ten years of experience know that credit problems don't go away in two weeks. It's funny to see how some individuals think everything has already finished so quickly. We are seeing a contraction of credit that will eventually lead to a significant downturn of the economy as a whole.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
