Halo 3: ODST Soundtrack - We're The Desperate Measures (Extended)

This wasn't incredibly hard to do, since Marty and company made the loops pretty straightforward. The loops are far more consistent than others, and most of the nuance is in the beat matching. I'm not saying it's lazy, though. It just took less time than others.

The real name of these tracks (in order) are: A Heavy Toll, Unleashed, On the Prowl, and Air Traffic Control.

When I first played Reach and got to the mission New Alexandria and this started playing, I was so confused at first, I was like, "Hey this was in ODST!" Then I realized the side mission was to protect Buck while he evacuated. One of my favorite parts of Reach. I just love this soundtrack.
Also liked the Easter Egg Glitch where you swap out the Falcon for the Pelican in the mission.

I've played the Halo games more or less since they came out and I've just now realized how much spaghetti western DNA is really in the series. Air Traffic Control is some straight up gourmet cowboy shit. Marty is a brilliant composer and I hope he finds success and happiness wherever he goes.

I remember no one but my best friend came to 9th birthday party. That is the birthday that I received a copy of halo 3 and a new 360. We played split-screen for the entire night pulling the first all-nighter of my life. We would then go on to play every single halo together and complete the campaigns on legendary. That was one of the best birthdays of my life and he still is my best friend to this day.

there's just something so badass about being a lone odst going up against a bunch of brutes, cause in the lore no regular human would survive that. but in the game you kick their ass. in my mind whenever i see a pack of brutes i charge them and im like i bet they're thinking: "oh just one human, i can kill him with my pinky finger!" and then he watches as you ruthlessly kill his friends and then come right at him. i can't be the only one who does that right

I would always give marines that I want on passenger seats OP weapons. Scorpion with 4 marines wielding lasers, rockets, and snipers absolutely melts all covenant resistance

Love the NMPD HQ mission SPECIFICALLY for this song, when the banshees and brute chieftains begin to overwhelm the high tower you are forced to defend.
