Great and incredibly helpful video! My husband and I are going to begin our life on the road in October and this video shove had eased so much of the concern about how to find free sites. Hope to see y'all out there some day!

My wife and I do not do alot of boon docking but are looking at it more and more. That said we do travel to resorts many times a year and online reviews are a tool we use. My rule of thumb, ignore the worst reviews and ignore the best. The middle ground reviews are found to be more honest. For example it is not the resort's fault the weather was bad during a visit or the person writing the review did not like the food. Scan over all reviews and find the common factors.

This is a tremendous help for those in the 'want to know' mode. Beautiful step by step information on finding top camp sites in National Forests and bureau of land management locations. Thank you!

Thank you for the 3 in 1 tip for use on the jacks, x-chocks, and the awning. Appreciated that extra information. Also, you just re-enforced the methods that I use to find free campgrounds and dump stations as I depend on the very same ones that you use. Great job in demonstrating the steps that you take in searching for your campsites.

Fantastic Campsite Resource Video, Jenni..! FYI - for those who may be wondering how Jenni opened the info in a New Tab - Jenni first [Left Clicked] on the Campsite she wanted information on, then in the white box with information about the campsite - she [Right Clicked] with her mouse to bring up a list or menu, and then she [Left Clicked] on the [Open link in new tab]. I hope this was helpful! ~Keep the Great Videos and Helpful RV Travel Tips coming guys - Thank You..!

Thanks for sharing your boondocking strategy. You save first timers like me untold hours figuring this stuff out.

Very informative. I was introduced to the app "iOverlander" a few months back and it quickly became my favorite go to app for initial searches for sites, dump stations, and water. It even works with no cell signal, which is helpful to me, since we go a lot of places where there is no cell coverage.

I admit that I skip the ads, but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan. It's the personalities, sense of humor, the adventures, and the vibes is why I'm here 🥳

Thank you so much for this video! And I especially appreciate the "commercial ". I've been telling my husband about this every time you show it, and NOW I can tell him it WON'T attract dirt. Hoping to find these videos once we retire so we can travel. Thanks for your expertise. 😁

Getting stuck reviews, and tree branch clearance would be the real gold to find, like a 0-5 scale. If you've ever sunk in wet clay you know what I mean!

While a picture is worth a thousand words, moving pictures are priceless. Thanks for the unstaged demo!

Yet another fantastically informative video, thanks so much!! Victor Fields is a wonderful area for primitive camping. It used to be that there was a road going in to the old homesite and the apple orchards that are still sort of maintained by the park service (Blue Ridge Parkway owns it, I think); but a number of years ago they barricaded the side road with dirt and as of a few years ago there's really not much for a relatively flat space to put an RV and truck - maybe that's changed now, I don't know. Further on down the road there are people who live there year-round, so it's just the first rather flat area that's where people camp. There are also camping spaces along the forest roads west of there running down from the Blue Ridge Parkway toward the Toe River campground. As I recall there are a couple to the left side of the road if you're going down the mountain (going sort of north) that should be large enough for a trailer and truck. Check out South Toe River Road on Google Maps. Hard to see with the heavy woods cover, but before you get to the more formal campgrounds you'll find a few.

Thank you so much Jenny. Watching how you move thru the process using the various references/sites etc made it so much more clear than when I’ve heard people say, “oh, I use Google Maps, etc.”

You and David are one of my favorite resources as we make our plans to ship out in the Spring of 2022! Hope to see you on the road! Catch your dreams

I've always had pop up campers on 4x4s to really boondock, till now, because we were offered a 29ft class A at a great price from a friend who wants to go to an even bigger diesel pusher. With a Class A you just can't turn off on the nearest dirt road when the mountains are turning pink and it's time to drink. Therefore, I'm actually planning a trip before we set off for Texas from San Diego on our first big trip. I have found your videos to be very helpful indeed and I will keep an eye out for the Crazy Lady from Oregon when I head north!
