Texas is 75% privately owned. It is hard to find "free" camping sites. This video is misleading.

Yay Arizona! I've been here for 22 years. I go to Flagstaff and Quartzsite mostly!

Moved to AZ in december and just did my first dispersed camping trip on the south rim of the grand canyon and it was life changing! AZ is the best.

Definitely agree with number one! That's how we ended up unexpectedly spending three amazing months in AZ earlier this year haha. Looking forward to doing boondocking in several of the other states mentioned.

At first I was shocked that Colorado only made spot 5, but I get it. All lovely places to camp for sure.

We all know what the states have to offer. While making another top ten list is nice, what would be nicer is more details on the actual locations INSIDE each of the states. Locations, tips, do’s and don’ts, etiquette ( as in don’t park right next to someone when there is lots of open space)....etc

Must agree with the top 3 especially. It surprised me that Texas was even on the list, I know not enough on the other states to comment.

Arizona— as long as you’re not trying to camp near Sedona. We’re there now and a lot of it has been closed.

Love all the info on this site! Would love to see more info on scenic camping in the Great Lakes area, U.P./Michigan, Voyageurs in MN. Also the east coast- Carolinas, Georgia, and FL state parks etc. Thank you :)

Great video! I wonder why did Washington State did not make the cut. Is it difficult to find camping there?

I don’t live within a reasonable driving distance to any of these states. How about any state on the East Coast
