I feel like they didn't actually compare anything

I LOVE my 3rd Gen Frontier. Bought it for the naturally aspirated V6. You’ll NEVER see space shuttle miles out of those 4-pot turbos. Period.
My Frontier is quiet, smooth, solid, and a joy to drive. The drivetrain is a gem. Loads of power and always in the right gear. Traded in my 20 year old Tundra with no regrets.

The V6 in the Frontier makes it the best truck here. Period.

Nissan Frontier all day for me. Naturally aspirated, less electronic gimmicks, easy to work on.

I'd choose the Tacoma if it wasn't priced like a full-size truck BEFORE dealer markups

I’ll choose the Frontier all day. None of these vehicles are meant for major hauling….and the V6 will always be more reliable under load than a turbo 4. Just too bad the Frontier is no longer offered with a manual.😢

Love my Frontier. Reliable and it’s quicker than you think - the steering is a non issue

I'll take the Frontier because it offers a v6 . The other two look alike.

Its hilarious to read the comments and see just how wrong this review got it. They place Frontier third, comments place it first by a landslide. FRONTIER ALL DAY. For people who need a real truck. And it also happens to be the best looking. Offered with a 6 foot box again for 2024

I wish they showed the as tested prices because I’ve looked at all of these trucks and there’s a reason I bought the Frontier. I trades in an SR5 Tacoma and am much happier with the Frontier.

The Frontier is my choice. Reliability, a V6, and awesome ride and plenty of tech. Not a fan of turbo 4s when it comes to towing and reliability.

I’d go with frontier, sub 30K used 4x4 base model. Good 6cyl and transmission combo that’s been used since 2020 plus a lot of cheap materials on the interior I’m not afraid of scratching up. And the headlights aren’t LED’s so if things go wrong it’s cheaper to replace. Easy to do oil change at home and it still has the “old” looking interior with actual buttons and knobs instead of over the top touch screen display. All three look really good though.

Nissan frontier is the only one with most reliable v6 engine option

Have a 2019 Frontier P4X and I adore it. Only 50K miles in but it’s such a great truck. Bolted on sliders and new skids as well as a 2 inch lift. Great on road trips and on the trails here in Colorado. Love it!

I absolutely am a nissan fan. Only owned nissan my whole life. I've had a2009 versa. A 2005 frontier, a 2011 370z nismo, a 2006 xterra and now a 2023 frontier. Loved them all. They were all reliable and all got sold or written off. I honestly wonder if I'm just really lucky, or if nissan really does make bullet proof vehicles. But, either way, I'm so happy to see that they're so much love for the frontier, as its the under dog, and the oldest platform. Amazing, solid, price friendly truck. When nissan makes a truck, they make them smart, well built and practical. I have a really good feeling nissan knew what they were doing by keeping the v6 cuz all the smart people are gonna go with the new tech and regret it later.

IDK how you can give it to Tacoma with no testing. I guess it wins cause... Options?

Aside resale value, Tacoma hasn't sat atop the mountain in years. But, if you're buying with intent to sell, go for it.

I was looking for a comparison, not a paid Toyota advertisement.
