Do you think there's a mysterious ninth planet, lurking in our solar system?

Dear Chuck, Thank you for confronting the Planet Killer. He even knew where the remains of Krypton were located.

Dear Neal,

You were the inspiration for my daughter’s name Nova. She passed away 6 years ago at 1year and two days old. I still watch you in her honor. Thank you for inspiring her name. She is my little star.

These guys are like Laural and Hardy in their ability to improvise responses to complex topics. Their light-heartedness brings a level of intrigue that I find to be very entertaining, making learning fun. Please know that I have a high respect for your teamwork. When it works as it does for specific pairs like the Smothers Brothers, for example, it creates a desire to watch with anticipation, waiting to see what kind of responses will come about as you guys interact concerning your subject matter. Thank you!

Neil's ability to explain complex subjects in layman's terms is truly world class.

When I was little, I had books that speculated about Planet X. That always creeped me out a bit, like we're being stalked by a shadow in the dark

👍What i like is, Neil always give credit to the people responsible for their contributions to science discoveries.

Oh man I remember loving the hunt for planet X as a little kid in the 80s. I honestly didn't realize until this video that Neptune's orbit *never had* any deviations from the math. The inconsistencies were dismissed as bad data in my junior year in high school. Until 10 minutes ago I thought the Kuiper Belt caused Neptune to deviate. You learn something new every day. 🥰

"THAT IS NOT THE TAKE AWAY!"

Neal...whenever Pluto is brought up in any conversation ever...that is always the take away 🤣

The thumbnail picture of Neil looks like when your grandma knows she cooked you a bomb meal and she’s looking at you waiting for you to taste it

IMHO, the worst thing about Pluto's demotion is "Planet X" USED to work on two levels: "X" for Roman numeral 10, and "X" for "unknown variable." But it's out the window now.

I have the same misgivings about the English language choosing "corn" over "maize": every fall, we could scare the kiddies with the thought of getting lost in a "maize maze!" (That would've been amazing...)

Cheers from Rome, Gravitational wave astronomer listening !! I must admit this kinda physics podcast with a comedian cohosting keeps getting better and better, thanks for all the work.

Neil took away our pizzas.

(for anyone that doesn't understand this joke, teachers use to get their students to memorize the order of the planets by saying "My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas" which stood for Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto)

Planet X is where Dr. Funkenstein & the Afronauts are from. They are coming back to funk us up and give manchild back, the funk we lost. Chocolate City baby.

I can't believe Neil was part of dethroning Pluto 😅

I got to meet Clyde Tombaugh back in the 1970s. He was a lovely man and he still deserves the recognition for having the patience to go over those observations so painstakingly as to find Pluto in the first place. And it was where we were expecting something, just not our first dwarf planet. <laughter>
