Way back in school, we were taught the one-liner "My Very Enthusiastic Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets" where the first letter of each word stands for the first letter of the respective planet in order. It helped us remember the names of the erstwhile nine planets sequentially. The sentence literally lost its appeal when Pluto was dropped off the list in 2006. The word 'Planets' was gone. Although my heart will always want Pluto back, I'm glad 'Planet-X' (another one starting with 'P') may potentially make it to the list. My pretty little one-liner will be complete again. :)

If you read Zecharia Sitchin's book the 12th planet written in the 60's or Genesis revisited written in 1990, he used Sumerian text to hypothesis that there was a planet beyond Pluto with an elliptical orbit that took thousands of years to orbit the sun, he predicted the size and he used the Sumerians name for the planet which was Nibiru. Now the name Nibiru has been hijacked by everybody with a theory so I know you guys might be tired of hearing about it, but I strongly recommend everybody read Genesis revisited by Zecharia Sitchin if you are interested in this topic. You will be amazed on how right he was using information that was written so long ago.

If there actually was a ninth planet beyond Neptune, then I propose that it should be named Minerva (Greek: Athena). This would keep in line with the Roman deity theme of planetary titles, and it also sounds very fitting.

To anyone in the comments who miss Pluto being a planet, or don't agree with it being a Dwarf Planet (there seems to be quite a few of you) Pluto was only demoted after we realised there are hundreds, if not thousands, of other planets, both bigger and smaller in the same region as Pluto. If Pluto was a planet then Makemake, Eris, Ceres and many others would be too. Another criteria for being a planet is it needs enough force to plough other objects out of its orbit zone, which Pluto clearly hasn't done. But it is still a planet, just a Dwarf one.
