TLDR: FedEx didn't care to fix his problem until the News showed up

I want to know what fedex did to fix the issue of not having a pathway for customers to resolve issues like this.

“That’s reality really hard for us to fix 🤷‍♀️” “sorry 🤷‍♀️”
No doing your own taxes is really hard, getting a perfect score on the SATs is really hard, ect. Being able to read the correct address in a job that REQUIRES matching the address on the package to the house is easy even if you don’t know the language or you’re illiterate

This story is incomplete. Are you going to tell me that KSL couldn't send the guy a few FedEx packages with Apple Tags in them to see if they get properly delivered? There is no closure just a 'Hopefully' it's fixed. Hopefully? They said it's fixed. Do your job and test it!
I give the reporter a 4 out of 10. He didn't even follow up with the guy to see if he talked to them. Just took FedEx's word for it as far as we know.

I had to PERMANENTLY ban FedEx from my property because FedEx is too inept to find my house.

I want to know why Gephardt's story didnt conclude with a report on where FedEx delivered the package he sent to the homeowner after it was supposedly fixed.

I just want to know if Gephardt followed up and the guy is finally getting his packages.

The man's full address should not have been shown. A little more discretion is needed.

The hardest step in getting any company to fix a problem, is getting them to admit there is a problem.

Yesss!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one with the issues with FedEx. The address is correct. They always deliver to the church behind my house. Drives me nuts. It was 4yrs of this nonsense. I finally got through with a girl in tech support. There is a paragraph of directions for the delivery drivers to find my house now. Haven't had an issue since though.

Ok . . . But WHY was it happening in the first place? What is with this reporter? Not enough information nor enough questions asked?

Would have been great to hear some details on this story; Why it was happening, what caused it to happen, et cetera. It feels like this news report just glazed over the issue.

FedEx is the worst for customer service. My company has to charge our customers extra if they want it to go FedEx. We are customer routed. We warn all our customers a head of time that they will be charged a pick up fee and we will not reimburse or re work any damaged parts if they insist on us shipping Fedex. Don't get me started on their international shipping, let's just say NIGHTMARE!

I had an ongoing issue with FedEx in Madison CT. I would get regular large packages of dog/cat food and litter delivered. The driver would deposit these cartons directly in front of my garage door which meant I couldn’t get in or out of the bay without having to get out of the car and move them myself which was extremely difficult because of hand/wrist arthritis. There was a standard entry door next to the garage bays 15’ away, to which he could easily pull his truck up to. Half dozen phone calls with the regional manager yielded nothing but sympathy and empty promises to correct this. One day I saw him do it and kicked the boxes aside, hopping in my car and following him to next neighborhood wherein I blocked his truck. I asked him if it was the case that his supervisor told him not to drop my boxes in front on my garage door. He immediately got aggressive, defensive, and argumentative. I asked h why he just couldn’t accommodate this request. I left because he was never going to be reasonable and irrational people are not worth confronting. I finally resolved the problem with Chewy, the pet supplier, to use UPS.

All that they said at the end was that 'hopefully' he won't have to fear folks sending him packages via FEDEX.
They didn't say it was resolved and that FEDEX will now be delivering to the correct address.

FedEx has a bunch of idiots working there this has happened to me several times with FedEx and when I try calling their customer service they hang up on me every time when I asked where's my package

I remember when I lived in a small town, all of my packages would wind up at the post office even if I put my physical address down.

I lived in a house where parking was just a patch of gravel in front of the house for most places on that street. My neighbors always got packages delivered to their door, the one directly across the street from me, and the houses on either side. The best part: They would sometimes park IN MY DRIVEWAY to deliver THEIR packages to them, but absolutely refused to drop mine off.

Still have no idea why

You left out the best part of the story. How did they resolve it? Why was it being done to begin with?
