It’s so refreshing to watch your ‘what I eat in a day’ videos! I feel like so many youtubers who post ‘what I eat in a day’ videos don’t eat nearly enough food or they promote extreme health ideals that are actually very toxic, thus contributing to eating disorder culture. You eat plenty and you listen to your body and it’s great! You look beautiful and healthy, thanks for promoting positive habits of eating.

I don't know if you cover this in the next seconds of the video (I just paused after you said 'onion as well') BECAUSE: I took a test like this 2 years ago and mine told me some things that I did know of (like gluten - which I really can't have at all, banana - which gives me super annoying bloating, eggs and dairy - which I knew because they gave me real bad problems before going vegan, and so on...) HOWEVER, those kind of tests also react sensitive to traces of foods you had in your system shortly before taking the test. So let's say you had onion, cashew, oats, blueberries and coconut the night before and the morning you took the test, you'll most likely get a reaction to those. I got that told by several doctors who specialise at food allergies and molecularbiologists who kind of know how the biochemistry of those tests works. :D Just wanted to say that in case you or someone is really worried after taking a test like that xD

thank you for clarifying the difference between allergies and sensitivities! I have been deathly allergic to dairy my entire life and it’s so frustrating when people don’t take me seriously because they think I’m just lactose intolerant! ❤️

I too as a kid got tons of ear infections, and after cutting out dairy they were gone. As an adult I seemed fine with dairy (this was for about a year or two before going vegan). I have been vegan for two years, and I did notice that I did feel somewhat bloated from dairy products

I live in Tacoma, about 2.5 hours from Vancouver! :) If you haven't done any hiking yet in Washington, (Mt. Rainier hiking is amazing) you should! Excellent snowshoeing in winter, too.

I love how that pasta salad pretty much contains everything you have a 'sensitivity' to: Onion, dill, olives hahaha

Crazy, I was raised there in Vancouver WA, as was my husband and we could not wait to move away! Life is always greener on the other side I guess. It is gorgeous, I do miss that. I hope Vancouver is a great blessing for you! Also....Thai Little Home and Burgerville is a must for all Clark county citizens. :)

A note about eating a big bowl of oats in the morning -- you might be feeling that way not because of the sensitivity, but because of how the body reacts when you eat a lot of carbs. When you eat more than a small amount of carbs at once, your pancreas will release more than its normal amount of insulin to try and get your blood sugar back in control. It's pretty much a crapshoot on how much it releases, because once it's triggered to release more than usual, it will just release ALL the insulin and then it will eat up all of the sugars that would have been used for energy. Then, since the insulin took away all the sugars and your body needs those sugars for energy, your brain triggers you to think that you are hungry even if you are super full. You can combat this by doing some quick exercise right after you eat a lot of carbs to make your body burn those sugars the right way before the insulin is released!

Yes!! One of the things that make me so happy is getting rid of things and making space. Yet I think I'm also a food hoarder too. When I find really good deals I buy a lot it. 🤔

Yes, same! I hate being wasteful, and I try very hard to only buy what I need and what I can use. So every time I completely use something up, it feels like a job well done =)
