Update: In 2023 you have to go to (Privacy & Security/ then (Developer Tools) and add the application you want to access through there.

I got a new macbook pro and i migrated everything from my old one to the new one. I keep getting that exact pop up about an app i’ve never heard about and my options are ‘cancel’ and ‘show in finder’ and no mater what i click, it still reappears. And it doesn’t show up in finder either. I cannot make it go away please help 😢

Doesn't work for me, don't have those extra options like "open", "move to trash" and "cancel". Tried ctrl+click as well.
