I just did my first Estes rocket and I knew it was going to go 575 feet in the air but when it did it just gave a whole different feeling. I have a 1, 100 feet rocket that I will be launching.

As a kid I must have launched 20+ different estes rockets. I don't think I ever got one back intact! They blew away, caught fire, or crashes and broke because the chute didn't open. I did however stay out of trouble!

My first Estes launch went amazing. Worked great and went the advertised 1000+ feet.

We used some low power motors for the first few test flights and angled the launch into the wind to ensure recovery.

I have a picnic kit for the kids. Rockets and kites. If the wind is blowing we fly kites, if there is no wind we launch rockets. Always fun.
