Vegeta is my favorite character, hes a lot like Lee in that he's a genius of hard work.
he might not be the strongest, but his determination and willpower is.

especially in the moro arc he really steps up and does something incredible. not only did he master instant transmission faster than goku, he did it much farther than any beginner has any business doing. that blew my mind when it happened.

When Cell killed future trunks, after that point Vegeta started to Care about Bulma and Trunks. He was changed by that

Vegeta is one of the most complex characters. He fell in love with Bulma on Namek cause of her strong perseverance. That’s why he decided to stay on earth with her. He came to terms that each person is strong in their own way and not everyone is the absolute strongest. He accepted that it isn’t weak to ask for help and that he carries regrets for killing Nappa and mourns the loss of Raditz. He’s a man without a clan and the only one that can come close to understanding him is a sayian who took no part in their ways. He feels he is alone in the universe and he seeks brotherhood which is why he became so fond of Cabba taking him on as a student. Because Cabba reminds him of his little brother Tarble.

The thing is Vegata really did defeat Goku in their first fight. I think it was more of the fact that he seemingly never was physically beat that badly in addition to the fact that Goku spared him dispite his intentions

Missed the biggest one. He learned to love bulma, he even went against the god of destruction for landing a hit on bulma. Something he did unconscious, yet overcoming all logic.

Failing to embody UE is my new favorite one. It didn't fully change Vegeta per say, but it perfectly showcases the growth Vegeta has gone through, to the point he himself has to acknowledge it and even "forgive" himself for his past. learning that fighting for others is good but knowing it's ok to fight for your own sake without feeling you have a debt to pay is also necessary.(a "positive" kind of Ego/self-value).

I understand people haven't quite caught up with how good the Granolah arc is for Vegeta, but it absolutely deserves a spot here.

side note: It just hit me this list is wack, how could you not Include Trunks death, THAT was more significant then his death against Frieza (which didn't actually affect him in the long run sense he soon after still had a vandeta and drive to prove his superiority and not rely on Goku, to the point he lets Cell absorb 18 and later still accepts Babidi's Majin mark; so the lesson clearly did not stick and was more of a peak into his vulnerable psyche then a "changing event').

Also, when Future Trunks was killed by Super Perfect Cell. It was at that moment that he actually started loving his family.
