Do you think spicy food has something to do with this ? 11000 years is a long time ago i dk whether indians were doing agriculture back then or not. But they were eating much healthier and more active. Skinny fat thing is more recent thing i guess. Colonisation added fuel to fire. Nobody is as skinny fat as indians but all ethnicities have it in variying degrees.

Of course diet and lifestyle also play a role. But where you carry your body fat initially is mostly determined by genetics. Knowing this can help determine what path you should take in your fitness journey, whether it’s losing fat first or building muscle or both(my preferred approach). Some of this depends on comfort but also on your training experience, level of bodyfat and even age.

I feel like that’s an over generalization to be honest. A lot of people are skinny fat, but a lot of people are also just regular fat 😂. At least it’s extremely easy for us to put on muscle compared to other people 😂
