The President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Ted Wilson also recently made statements defending abortion in some circumstances but failed to provide any reasoning or biblical evidence for his statements. Defending violence against children is extremely serious and must be addressed immediately.

Elder Wilson, I say this with great respect..You said we have some very decaded Theologian's working on this subject of abortion.My Bible says: "You shall not murder". (Ex.20:13). Our Prophet did not use the word "Abortion" "but emphasized the sanctity of life: "Human life, which God alone could give, Must be sacredly guarded."-PP 516, The Adventist Review in 1867 says this:"The willful killing of a human being AT ANY STAGE OF ITS EXISTENCE, is MURDER. The practice is in direct war against human society.' John Todd (A non-SDA) "Fashionable Murder"--RH June 25, 1867, pg.30. "One of the most shocking, and yet one of the most prevalent sins of this generation, is the murder of unborn infants. Let THOSE WHO THINK THIS IS A SMALL SIN, read Psalm 139:16.They will see that even the UNBORN CHILD IS WRITTEN IN GOD'S BOOK.And they may be so well assured that God WILL NOT PASS UNNOTICED THE NUMBER OF SUCH CHILDREN." RH Nov. 30, 1869, p 184..There are many, many more writings on the murdering of children in the S..O.P .as you know that condemns the murdering of babies. As you know Elder Wilson the Bible has many Bible verses on the sin of murdering Human Life. What bothers me, Elder Wilson is when you said: You have some dedicated Theologian's checking in on this. Elder Wilson, some of these "Dedicated Theologin's" report it's o.k for a woman to be an Ordained Elder or Pastor. You have some of these "Dedicated Theologian's saying it's O.K to murder living babies .You, Elder Wilson need to step up on stage televised for the whole world to see you a Seventh Day Adventist Pastor, with your Bible. in your hand showing every inspired Scripture of what God's Word says about murdering human babies, and even worse for MONEY. We voted you in as President so please stand up an expose this EVIL that has walked into our Church & our Hospitals.

He speaks out both sides of his mouth. Flowery talk does not speak ‘the wonderful truth of Scripture’ S he would claim he speaks. He did NOT defend life but tried to save face with talking points that tried to console and reassure SDAs. But his words are completely hollow, especially considering how much he has ignored people who have urged him to take a stand. People like me and ESPECIALLY like Andrew.. If he REALLY cared, he would have already done something. His words mean nothing. I think it is a sobering time for Adventists. If the gospel is really about salvation in the sacrifice Jesus made for us at the cross, how could it POSSIBLY be ok to kill a baby EVEN IF they were conceived through no crime of their own?! This was a damage control interview. His words mean nothing...IMO.

My brothers we have to be vigilant, because if we are not we will be fooled. Listen to his words, if you are not careful you will be deceived. Ted Wilson is not taking a stand and is going back and forth trying to wiggle himself out of the statement he made prior to this about abortion.
I really hope that people listen to his words.
This man needs to take a stand and stop making it seem like as a christian we have an option to obey God or not to obey

Lukewarm Laodicea at its best, He said the same thing when he could not explain the Mark of the Beast, being any other day than Saturday when asked. I asked him about the 25million dollars just donated to Loma Linda by a Casino in California he said nothing.

If killing the baby at the time of birth was abhorrent, what about months before that? Does the child become more valuable because it a was a little older? "The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father...." Why should the baby suffer death for the sin of the father/rapist?

Of all the possibilities the most generous is that the man is terribly confused, which makes him unfit for the office he holds. I strongly suspect his actual problem is political, and he knows that openly defying the secular humanists in and outside the church will cause the church political problems.

The longer he goes without opposition from the congregation, the more culpable we all become for his error.

Ted will not come out and say explicitly that abortion is wrong for the SDA church is a 501c 3 entity. Therefore, being a non profit, cannot speak against a law without risking loss of non profit status and losing assists.

He should run for public office.
