Excellent, as always, thank you.
My biggest pet peeve has always been, the ones that are obviously not the cooks in the family, giving food storage advice.
Kudos, to you. For always being practical, accurate, and rational.

I love your channel. Your thought out, logical recommendations are always so well presented. You might consider obtaining a small lapel microphone. As I age, hearing ability lessons, and the echo in some videos overrides your good words. I really don’t want to miss anything you have to say! Thank you, for all the good work you do and helping me prep.

And what about other supplies like toilet pAper, soap, pet supplies. I only ask this because I'm sure it must be on another video but your information is always so helpful when it comes to this.

Store bought is cheaper and healthier than prepper foods. Have a sustainable heating system and water. Buy a little every shopping trip. Buy what you like. The excel is beyond me though 😂

I don't mind the sound. I understand this wasn't recorded in a studio with a 7-digit budget, but in your home.

Do you have a vide for a comprehensive first aid kit

I would have loved to watch this but the echo was too much.

Thank you for your video.

You're talking uncommon sense here PP.
I have to remind myself that you are talking to mostly "normal" people, AND! everybody's situation is different.
Specially mine here in the land of dysfunction and denial.

I've tried the meal planning only to be shot down and sabotaged and not intentionally either. Not all the time anyway.

Besides, during the "season" you never know what's going to arrive "fresh" at the door needing attention. Soft Shell Clams, Oysters, Bar Clams, Mackerel, Herring, Lobster, Halibut, and other "ground fish".
In the fall it's the garden produce, so much that lots rots on the ground.
I'm not complaining, .... But it sure sounds like I am eh? I'm blessed to still be living in abundance here in times where many are not so lucky.

The farmers here left tons of Potatoes in the ground last fall because they were unable to get them harvested for whatever reason. There's no excuse for people not having enough Potatoes here, not when they are free for the digging.

The thing is, only poor people and "losers" dig the Potatoes left for free in the fields, ... lol So you'll not catch "normal" people doing such a thing. They wouldn't be caught dead doing such a thing.
Still, there was a couple of old folks digging potatoes last fall but they left with a couple of shopping bags full while I was filling the 75lb potato bags. I canned all my potatoes last fall and didn't get any dehydrated at all.

It's funny, I don't mark the expiration date, I mark the date it goes into storage and work from there. I'm pretty well done of 2019 except for the home canned meats, and I'm starting on using up 2020 now. I took some canned 2019 Sausage out and made a lovely Sausage and Cabbage dish.

Having trained myself to pay attention to what grabs my attention, I now prep the same way.
I have all the basics covered and now prep what pops into my head like the recent 5kg of Skim Milk powder. (11lb)

I noticed I was going through my Hot Chocolate so I stocked up more of that and got some Cocoa while I was at it.
Stuff like powdered Onion and Garlic are high on my list whenever I see them stocked. That stuff gets put away in glass or Mylar with the oxygen absorber of course.

Because I'm not doing the garden this year I'm stocking up on the dehydrated vegetable melody they sell at the Bulk Barn and since I'm there's I get the Mac and Cheese sauce mix made with real Cheese for all that future Mac and Cheese I'll be making.

And last, I prep for a long term SHTF event or three. I'm talking years here and I'm seeing it happen right now and right before my very own eyes.
We're drifting into a Hell on Earth situation and the Powers That Be are making sure it's nice and slow so nobody will be prepared, ... and it's working too.
I see a whack of scared shitless preppers all jumping onto the prepping wagon and they don't have a clue. Last year they scoffed, .... and this year they look concerned.

If people had the ability to work together in respect, dignity, and diplomacy for the greater good, the highest potential, the Holy and Divine Win/Win, we would be much better off, but as it is, all we practice as civilized are childish games of win/lose and I'm afraid we will all be "losing" now. AKA Hell on Earth.

OK, I have a flue to clean, ...

Good luck.
