Ableton Live 11 - Comping, Probabillity, Devices and MPE -Sonic LAB Presentation

Ableton have announced the upcoming release of Live 11. It adds a number of new features based on the most requested from their users.

We got some time with Simon Stokes from Subsine Academy in Glasgow to take us through some of the new features.
It will be released early next year.

I know people don't think they added "enough new things" to justify 11, but honestly...all of the things that they DID add, I will actually fucking use. Which is more important to me than just adding 1000 things. The Hybrid Reverb, and Spectral effects, and all the new audio instruments look highly useful and applicable. The comping/track linking are both insanely useful and I don't even really record external audio much but working with audio clips seems way more efficient now. adding stability to LFO/Shaper/Envelope follower by making them native devices is HUGE. The scale mode on piano roll is excellent! MPE support makes me want to get a Roli or possibly buy a Push since it has poly aftertouch now. Point is, this is ALL INSANELY USEFUL AND AMAZING

Are take lanes also part of linked tracks? Like groups/playlisting in Logic/Protools – could I record multitrack drums and then edit the takes all together?

Now that clips have been tweaked, does anybody know if you can play a session clip from the cursor position? Also, I would be super happy if they fixed alt+space (play from cursor position) so that it works also with multiple clips selected in arrangement mode...
